How Can Severe Pain In The Hips And Ribs Be Treated?

I am a 55 year old female. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Until I got fibromyalgia I was healthy and never had to go to the doctor. When I was 15, they found out that I had a tumor on my gallbladder. This was caused from a cell that should have gone to my stomach going to my gallbladder when I was being formed. For the last eight months or so, I ve been experiencing severe pain in my hips and my ribs. This is in the actual bone not the muscle. I also have pain under my arms around the lymph nodes, and my armpits itch horribly. I m on 300 mg of Gabapentin one time a day and 30 mg of oxycodone one pill 3 times a day. What is wrong with me? I haven t been to the doctor, in regards to all of this, because I have been unemployed for the past year and have had no medical insurance. Is this related to the fibromyalgia or is this something else?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Fibromyalgia can cause muscle pain but it is not usually associated with joint pain.
This means that it is possible that the joint pain is not related to this condition.

In terms of the itching of the axilla, this may be an allergic reaction to the deodorant used or there may be rash present in the area.
The most common itchy rashes are allergic or fungal.

I hope this helps
