General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, Thanks for the query, I understand your concern. The excessive stress exerted to the ligaments/ muscles surrounding hip joint or the hip joint itself / following less synovial fluid in joint./ stress fracture of the joint or thigh bones. To pin point the cause an MRI would help. Consultation of an orthopedic surgeon is needful at the moment.followed by specific treatment. Till then you have to take rest.Use hot/ cold compresses/ Take over the counter NSAID pill ( in a small dose of 200mg Ibuprofen 2-3 times a day after food ) Thanks
