How Can Severe Pain In The Wrist Be Treated?

I am a 71 year old male who has been lifting heavy weights for about 50 years. Over the period of about the last 8 months, I have been experiencing relatively severe pain in gripping something, even a handshake, along with the inability to hold onto things. Also I have been on HGH at 4 mg per day for about 6 months, with good results.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult an orthopedics and get evaluated. It might be due to conditions like arthritis or carpel tunnel syndrome. As of now you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
