How Can Severe Wrist Pain Be Managed In A Person Who Had Undergone Carpal Tunnel Surgery?

My wife has severe pain in both wrists. She had carpal tunnel surgery many years ago and broke both wrists about 3 years ago ice skating. Doctors have said at last appointment that there is nothing they can do. She cannot sleep at nights and the pain is severe. Any stretching or exercises she needs to do to help ease pain?

unfortunately, there is no specific exercise she can do to relive her pain. She can try strong pain killers when she needs.
