How Can Side Effects Of Bactrim Be Managed?

I am having a severe reaction to the Bactrim, I think. My tongue is beginning to swell and I am losing some sensation in it. I have had bleeding gums , yesterday, and since this morning, my lower inner lip has peeling like symtoms along with white bumps/blisters and now my upper lip is swelling and the color is so red, like as if, I was eating an red popsicle. What will help soothe my pain. I am also feeling nausea. the odd thing is a month ago I was taking bactrim and I did not have any side effects , and now I do and I only began using it yesterday. can you Help?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
You should stop the medication.
I also suggest to take antihistamines daily for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
