Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM! I appreciate your concern.
I would like to explain that there are different patterns of sleep, depending on our daily activity. This is because you are accustomed to do the same things every day.
But this is not a normal rhythm, which can cause several
hormonal imbalances,
mood disorders and a decrease in your everyday performance.
There are different tips to change this regime:
-You can try to perform some physical activity around 3.30. Caffeine would also be helpful to postpone your sleeping for later.
-Try to sleep at the same time every night (for example 22.30). It is important to lay down with closed eyes, even if you don't sleep. You can try to read a book before going to sleep.
- Avoid staying before the computer until late.
If you do this for at least 10 days, your routine will start to change.
I would also recommend you to start melatonine for some days, 30 minutes before sleep every night. This will help to regulate your physiological sleep-wake cycle.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings! Dr. Aida
