How Can Sore Throat And Cough Be Treated?

Think I am having aspirin reaction. Has never happened b4. Got home from pool with slight headache, took 2 generic aspirin. Shortly after diner coughing, sore throat, itchy palms of hands. Took cool bath still itchy, Should I get some benadryl p, wait it our, or seek medical attention? New to area not sure where to go.

Take some lozenges like strepsils to relieve sore throat.Can do salt water gargling. Can take cough syrup like ascoril to reduce cough. ( if it is dry cough use ascoril d; wet cough ascoril exp )
