How Can Stomach Ache Along With Diarrhea And Vomiting Be Treated?
I’m 71 female and watch my 14 month old granddaughter part time . She goes to day care the other 3 days. The problem is she comes home with something every other week and I get it. Today I got the stomach flu and in all my years I don’t remember getting so sick . My daughter had it too so she said it was bad but only lasts 2 days. I did not have fever but naseua, and pain , vomiting and diarrhea. Right now just aches a little diarrhea but I’m wondering what I should be taking and what is safe to start eating? Thank you.
Hello Welcome to Ask a Doctor service I have reviewed your query and here is my advice If this is the viral infection causing the abdomen symptoms then no need to take any medicine, if the pain is mild then It may comes around on its own, even nausea too, till then you can have light diet, no spicy food, no heavy meal, no fat containing food, and if it is not the viral infection and just a dyspepsia then your diet might be the cause so try to change it, still you have to be careful in diet, avoid taking spicy, oily, fat containing food else it is nothing to worry Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
