How Can Stomach Problems Be Treated?

I was told that I have H Pylori and was given 2 antibiotics, but after a week I took myself off of them as I got terrible stomach problems. Is it possibel that I have gotten rid of it, I was feeling better shortly after I stopped them but now I have the symptoms back.

Hello,

Some advice that I can give to you is:

- Take 10 days to 2 weeks of one or two effective antibiotics, such amoxicillin or clarithromycin
- Take ranitidine bismuth citrate, bismuth subsalicylate, or a proton pump inhibitor
- Avoid spicy food
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
