How Can Supraspinatus Tendonitis With Lymphadenopathy Be Treated?

I have severe pain in my right arm upto the fingers. It looks as if the pain originates from the back neck region . When it was screened (MRI) the findings are: 1. Altered signal changes noted in the supraspinatus tendon (supraspinatus tendinities) 2. Minimal fluid in the subacromial-subdeltoid bursa (bursities) 3. No joint effusion articular surfaces are normal. 4. Rotator cuff intact no tear. Incidental findings: Right axillary lymphadenopathy (non specific) Please suggest treatment (as far as possible with excercise)

Hello,Thanks for your query.
After going through your query I came to know that probably you are suffering from supraspinatus tendinitis .
Exercises are not advisable in acute stage of tendinitis.Treatment of these conditions is rest to the joint and analgesic such as diclofenac (three times a day after meals). Some of my patients who does not got relief by rest and analgesics , I give them triamcilone locally weekly till pain relief with good results.Rarely release operation is reguired.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health.Take care.
