How Can Swelling In The Ankles And Feet With Radio Seed Implants Be Treated?

I had radioactive seed implants in my prostate a month ago, and 4 days ago, my feet and ankles swelled to where the skin looks like it could split...my Dr. gave me lasic pills and some potassium pills of a sort, and they only work for a couple hours, and then the swelling comes back...any suggestions?

Hi,

The swelling may not be related to radioactive implant.

You can consult a physician and get detailed work up to rule out conditions like low protein and renal dysfunction, which can lead to similar symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
