How Can Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Be Treated?

what if I have been falling into flower bed when dead heading flowers & have fallen to my right side TMJ in jaw on right side,have seen 3 different doctors for this problem. Also getting worse feel shaky & jittery--thought I had diabetes. Canyou tell me what I have?

Thanks for the query..

It looks like you have injured your jaw joint as you said that you have fallen on your right TMJ..
It can cause jaw joint dislocation, damage to the soft cushion that is present between the two bony ends of the jaw joint, fractures etc..

Feeling shaky or jittery can be due to anxiety or panic attacks however it can also be related to other causes for which you need to get thoroughly examined..

For jaw joint related problem it would be better for you to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated..
A Panoromic x ray should be done for ruling out the exact cause..

For now you can take painkillers lf there is pain and along with it take soft diet and avoid hard foods.
Avoid excessive mouth opening like during yawning, laughing etc..
