Hello, I am 22 years old and still suffer from night time urinary incontinence. I had problems very frequently up until 17 years old. It stopped for almost 2 years and now I am going through phases again. I have these Phases where I wet the bed almost every night for weeks or a month, then one day It just stops and I am dry for up to a month. I always think It is done, but then I start wetting again randomly. What do you think about my situation??
Urinary incontinence is common along women after 50 and usually is caused by urinary infections or weakened pelvic floor. This is also a common and often embarrassing problem. If over reactive or incontinent bladder affects your daily activities, don't hesitate to see your doctor. For most people, simple lifestyle changes or medical treatment can ease discomfort. It is treated with specific medications, pelvic floor muscles exercises, electric stimulation of behavioral treatment and in most cases this is adequate for incontinence control. If Cystitisis a cause as an bacterial infection then it must be treated with antibiotics..Surgical options are reserved for severe and intractable cases.
Hope I have answered your query.
