How Can Urination Frequency With Incontinence Be Treated?
Hello. I am a 19 year old male with a problem. About two months ago I started having to urinate frequently out of nowhere. This problem went away in about four days. About a week and a half ago I started having this problem again except this time I have have some urinary incontinence issues too (right after I finish urinating). I went to a doctor and he said he didn t see much in my urine but prescribed UTI meds. It has been 30 hours since I got on the meds and I am not making any progress. I am too young and busy to have a terrible mess like this on my hands. Please help!
As per my surgical experience, the frequency of urination with incontinence suggests severe urinary tract infection and persistence of symptoms after antibiotics may be due to drug-resistant strains.
Kindly consult your doctor again and discuss the need for urine culture report with the change of medicines as well.
Meanwhile, intake of citrus fruits with chewable vitamin C tablets, urinary alkaliser as cranberry sachets will help a bit more.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
