How Can Vomiting And Diarrhea In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi my 1.2years kid have pus cells 2-3 and have been vomiting n have regular stool whenever he is feeded and is not eating anything... His reducing substance is positive and reaction is acidic, mucus present is small and fat globules is present kindly suggests what is it we have shown doc he is saying it might be regular diarrhea....

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through the stool report you have mentioned. It is normal report. No need to worry for this. Start oral rehydration solution (ORS) and zinc tablet. Also give him probiotic tablets.
He may need anti emetic (domperidone) if vomiting is more.
Don't worry, he will be alright in 1 week time. If not improving after 1 week then consult pediatrician and get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out abdominal pathology.
