How Can Weakness And Fatigue After A Colostomy Be Managed?

My husband ha a emergency colostomy due to sepsis he is diabetic 2 and released from hospital 48hours ago . I am extremely concerned as he is very weak and ha NO energy he is also very pale at the moment. It is 4 in the morning and need to know what is best to do?

1. Hope his sepsis is treated and he is not more infected.
2. Nutritional diet along with good amount of fluids is necessary.
3. Psychological support is very essential. He had a critical surgery. Family support will help him improve along with diet and fluids. Protein rich diet is important. Maintain a sterile area around colostomy to prevent any infection.
