hello im 18 male my weight is only 43 kg i haved very hard for months and months in gym i use to take the diet instructed by my gym trainer but it dined seem to work i dont see any difference my friend say dat it is impossible for me to gain weight bcoz it my heridatory.... i really feel neglected nad sad for dis

There is a hereditary component in size but it is also influenced by diet and activity.

If your exercise is strength training and your diet is increased in its protein content then this may help to build muscle mass.
If you do a lot of aerobic exercise,this would cause weight loss or cause you to maintain your current weight.

To further gain weight, you would need to increase the amount of calories that you use on a daily basis.
This means increasing the calorie value of your meals and also eating more frequently.
