low cortisol level is due to adrenal insufficiency which may be 1ry due to adrenal disease or 2ry due to pituitary disease
the symptoms include chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, vomiting and low blood sugar
treatment include steroid supplements, when symptoms manifest
