How Dangerous Is It For Infant To Intake Sand?

What do you do when a babysitter had taken my 10 month old for walk stopped at a playground then came back said my daughter had put sand in her mouth. she tried get some of it out. My daughter was caoughing alot for aehile. how serious is this? what do I do?

At present there is nothing to worry. Its not very serious if she is playful right now.
You just keep a watch on her. If she develops coughing or breathlessness please consult your paediatrician.
