How Do I Treat Chills, Cramps And Headaches Following Clotted Periods?
I just finished my period about two weeks ago and today i started bleeding again but it is clotting and then i have some brown discharge. I have been having so pretty bad cramps and back ache and headaches as well. Yesterday I was sick with what i figured were flu symptoms. I have been having hot and cold chills as well. I am 28 years old
Brown discharge in backdrop of backache andflu like symptoms might be related to infection or inflammation of the urogenital tract with or without upper respiratory tract infection.
I would you for a battry of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC, liver function test, urine culture and vaginal swab culture to find out underlying cause.
you may require a course of antibiotics under medical supervision. Meanwhile maintain good hygiene and have plenty of fluids because mild infection of urogenital tract may get flush off with intake of water and maintaining good urine output.
Hope I could answer your question, please feel free to ask for further clarification, I will be happy to help you. Best wishes
