I am 16 years old. I have been masturbating since i was 13 yrs. old. now i think i am addicted to it as i masturbate at least 2 times a day. and sometimes 5 times a day , after which i can't do anything except sleeping . how can i control this urge? i need to control it because it has bad effects on my brain and health. please suggest something.

Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Masterbation is a usual thing but doing it so much is not good. You will get the feeling to masterbate when you are idle. You can involve in some hobbies or make yourself busy. Doing exercises like jogging swimming or playing games like batminton also helps you in controlling it.Avoid going into seeing pornography also is advisable.If all these not helping then you can approach psychologist for counselling.Hope this may help you.
