How Does One Treat A Painful Shoulder?

I have a pain in my right shoulder since last month. I was doing exercise and tried pushups with one hand, since then pain isn t going. I feel pain only when I put pressure on my shoulder. Doctor told me that it s ok but I feel pain whenever I put pressure on it. What should I do ?

Hello,
I can understand your concern about shoulder pain and i would recommend you to do xray of that shoulder to rule out any kind of minor fracture or ligament tear.....Mostly this happens due to muscle stretching and it will go away automatically after a week or so...Meanwhile you can take painkiller and apply painkiller gel to the affected area.. you can also do hot water massage to that area, which increases the blood circulation to that area and helps in early healing..
So all and all, i would advise you to take xray of that shoulder and if it is normal, then you can have pain relieving therapy as mentioned above for 8 to 10 days....
