Hi , HAVE URIC ACID - 7.1 & Thyroid . Consume 3 pegs ( 60 ml each) twice a week , will it increase my uric acid level ?
Want to know if consumption of alcohol ( whisky ) to the level specified above will worsen my uric level assuming moderate low protein diet ?

definitely yes , alcohol increases uric acid level and predisposes you to painful gout in near future, abstinent from alcohol is the rule
