How Effective Is Trimethoprim In Treating Klebsiella Pneumoniae In The Vagina?
Hi can you please tell me about how effective the antibiotic trimethoprim 300mg is in treating a heavy growth of klebsiella pneumonia in the vagina which is causing significant burning and itching. I had a bad reaction to Bactrim which was prescribed first. Thanks.

Hello,
I think you should take an appointment with your doctor to change the therapy. There are a lot of antibiotics you can use. If you had a bad reaction to Bactrim do not use anymore. Cephalosporins may be a choice for Klebsiella.
