I'm 52 yrs old, 5 ft 6. I live in Arusha, Tanzania and am constantly battling Giardia & Ameoba. Have been through the course recommended by doctors here of Tinidazole & Albendazole. They are now recommending H. Pylori treatment with an ESO kit should be used for treating H. Pylori. I understand that the kit contains Ezomeprazole, 20 mg, Clarithromycin 500 mg and Amoxacillin 1000mg, to be taken twice/day, before breakfast & before lunch. My questions: (1) For how many days should the kit be taken (2) Why the Esomeprazole? Is this for symptoms only as I can't imagine it treats the H. Pylori. I'm a "former" Family Practice Doctor, but stopped practice in 2003 to focus on my family, and have not kept up with things very well.
