How Else Can A Persisting Cough And Cold Be Treated?
My son is 6 months old and he is suffering for cold since 10 to 12 days and he is coughing very often. He is taking Levolin Syrup 1.5ml & Mox cyrup (Amoxycillin) 4ml 3 times with 8 hours gap as per the doctor s prescription. He is taking medicine since 3 days but there is no improvement as such. The medicine he is taking is alright ?
Thank you for asking question on Health Care Magic. Your son seems to have a respiratory tract infection. It is generally caused by a virus but at times there are secondary bacterial infections present alongside. Antibiotics can relieve a bacterial infection but not a viral one. But be sure to complete the course of antibiotics when you have started it.
