How Essential Is It To Keep Healthy Eating Habits?
Hi, I've just gone through cyclone Yasi here in Australia. We've got off quite unscathed here, but after being told that the category 5 storm was headed straight for us, we went through quite a lot of psycological strain on many different levels throughout the whole experience, which is still in continuation for so many. I'm concerned about mental health issues arising, and I want to be able to correctly spot them in my friends and family before they become a real problem. Also, due to wide-spread damage to agriculture in the state from previous flooding, fruit and vegetables might be hard for some to obtain. Is this going to cause a rise in obesity? How can I politely inform my friends and family that they must keep healthy eating habbits as much as they possibly can?
I don't know how many real choices you are going to have and how long the disruption is likely to occur (in a first world country, I doubt the disruption in food is going to be longer than a month). So... with a temporary situation, maybe not an issue. Stress, psychological factors, ingrained patterns of eating are the MAIN causes of obesity and can be treated like other compulsion/addictions (humor helps...which is the answer on your last question also). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1775472781/1708440999?token=378a5145
