How Far Aloe Vera Products Are Effective In Alzheimer's Disease?

Im a resident of Hyderabad, India.
My mother she is 63 suffering with Alzheimer Disease since 2.5years, I have consulted Neurophysician. He suggested to continue with couple of Medicines.
One of my close friends's doctor who advised me to use ALOE VERA products for AD.
My question is: How far Aloe Vera products are effective in AD case?
Is there any other treatment or medicnes which can show certain amount of impact?
