How Fast Should The Superprep Start Working?

How fast should the superprep starting working? My husband took his first does at 2:00 p.m. and will be taking the 2nd dose at 2:00 a.m. Procedure will be at 9:00 a.m. We have an hour drive to the doctor.

He had an scan about a month ago that showed an on-set of diverticulis in which he took a prescription to clear up the infection. There wasn't any other test done prior to him now having his prep for colonscopy. he has been experiencing watery bowel movement and sometime can't go potty on a regular basis. He has stated to the doctor that his bowel movements have changed.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It starts working slowly and gradually, so that someone does not become dehydrated, as well as it cleanse the intestine properly.Suprep;s second dose should be taken 6 hours before Colonoscopy and for another one hour your husband can drink little water. He should not take anything 4 hours before the procedure. If you are following your Doctor's instruction properly , it is okay if he is taking his dose at 2 AM. If you have any confusion, you must contact your Doctor.
Hope you got your answer.
