i recently went to have a blood test (multidrawer) and when i went in i told the phlebotomist i was neurotic about the sharps box which i looked at the moment i walked in the room, it looked clean and new on the outside which sounds silly but i didnt see any obvious blood on it. She then went on to touch the outside of the sharps box about a third of the way down. she then went to the computer, started writing a label and then came over to me and began taking blood not wearing gloves!! i think she has gone over to the sharps box, touched the outside of the box and got hiv blood on her fingers and then put hiv blood on my arm when looking for a vein and then when she put the needle in my arm the hiv blood ended up in my body! she also put a tornaquet on my arm before taking bloods. i am really worrying about this and wondered what you thought, thank you
