Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Bleeding piles are annoying, and at times painful conditions, mostly when they associated with fissures (which is usually a tea in your anal mucosa). There are a few measures you can take at home for bleeding : 1. Avoid too much strain on the commode 2. Use laxatives to make stool soft 3. Sitz bath which is warm water in a tub in which you have to sit twice a day or even thrice heals fissure, and helps in controlling bleeding. 4. Local ointment application with local anesthetic jelly.
The thing to be kept in mind is rectal bleeding can be associated with other serious conditions too, so if it continues for a longer time, you may need a proctoscope examination and a colonoscopy further to evaluate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ankit Chauhan
