How Long After Word Catheter Comes Out Is Having Sex Safe?

How long after a word catheter comes can I have sex ? I had a non-infectected Bartholins gland cyst lanced on tues 18th and a word cath put in it fell out 5 days later. My wound looks real good today 25th. I m celebrating my birthday by going out of town 28-30th and would love to be able to have sex at least by 29th. I ve been keeping real clean taking lots of hot baths & taking it easier & sitting on a doughnut. Sitting is worse than anything. I know there are variables but is sex completely out if the question or can we try & if hurts stop ?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Its not about when the catheter comes out, its mainly about when the last day of your medication was; especially the antibiotic. A gap of about 2 weeks is advised after the last dose of the medications, and from here on daily routine.

As for sexual intercourse, it can be initiated and tried as tolerate. So if at all the surgical wound has healed, and the stitches (if any) have healed and and either been absorbed or removed. I would have preferred at least viewing the region spoken about, so if possible please do avail our premium service, wherein you can attach pictures to our discussion for my examining.
