How Long After The Mirena Coiil Is Fitted Will I Stop Bleeding ?

Once the mirena coil is fitted, how many days untill i stop bleeding? how long after the mirena coiil is fitted will i stop bleeding? I had it fitted today and have had cramping ever since and bleeding. When will the bleeding stop? Thanks

Hi,
Bleeding is a severe side effects of mirena but the bleeding should come under control after few days.You may have inter menstrual bleeding also and cycles may be irregular for first few weeks.
