How Long Can Prednisone Be Taken?
my wife is 83 yearsold,,, many problems,,,, was prescribed predizone my her Dr. about a week ago and had been tapering off this week.... she has shown amazing improvement in her strength and general health feeling,,,,,,, can she continue taking it without harm?

I understood your query .. look Prednisone is a steroid and steroids continuous use is not good for us.. These drugs have excellent role in handling situations initially but later on they harms the body and especially in old age they weakens the body and our immune system too..
so i suggest as your Dr tapering down the same its good, no need to continue the same as it will not good for long term use..
