How Long Can I Continue With The Antibiotic For Third Degree Piles?

Sir I have internal anal injury which qualified doctor ( surgeon) has classified as third degree piles. It has responded well with application of nitrous cream and three capsules of Ampoxin 250 mg per day. I am continuing with the treatmetn for last eight days. Doctor has gone out of town. He had told me tot ake antibiotic for eight days. I feel that the antibiotic could continue further, I am taking rest for last three days. I do not have constipation. How many days I can continue with the antibiotic ?

Hi,

I understand your concern.

Antibiotic should be used as recommended by your doctor. However, if you have bought a couple of pills more than prescribed, just continue until you totally finish them.

When your doctor comes back, get a further consultation with him.

Wish fast recovery.
