Codeine causes constipation and is very addictive As far as taking Co-Codamol with alcohol is concerned,it can result in additive CNS-depression and impairment of judgment, thinking, and psychomotor skills. In more severe cases, respiratory depression, hypotension, profound sedation, and coma can occur If you re taking a medication, then obviously something is wrong.
