How Long Do Clostridium Difficile Infection Symptoms Last?

Hi,I just got diagnoses with c.diff. I have been healthy, a bout of the flu in february, and IBS from 1999, but nothing really different except four days ago rushed to hospital with diverticulitis,now diagnosed with c.diff. How long could I have had this?

Clostridium difficale duration of treatment mostly 10-14days, some cases 10-20%cases it will recurr after discontinuation of treatment. Duration of treatment may vary depending on patient condition, and bacteria virulence etc. Consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
