How Long Do Effects Of Oxycodone Last In Body During Pregnancy?
I m 25 weeks pregnant and I have been in recovery my whole pregnancy I ve been taking subutex as well as oxycodone on and off if/when I don t have subs so I don t withdrawal. I m going to stop using the oxycodone and start weining down off of my subutex as well. How long does oxy stay in the fetal system? I keep hearing horror stories of women who s babies placenta or poop tested positive for opiates and a social worker got involved. I m not due until January so if I m opiate free up until January will my baby be okay? And will a social worker have to get involved ?
hello. oxycodone is metabolized fast in the body with very little half life of few hours and excreted mainly in urine from the body. it can cause problems if patient takes it at term or near delivery. as u have got some months left so no need to worry . just stop taking these drugs and u wont face any threats to the fetus
