How Long Do Periods Last While On Birth Control Pills?

Hi, I was wondering what the average length of a period while on birth control is? If I started bleeding brown on Friday, but I didn't start placebo pills until Sunday, is there any way to know when it will end? (I have a wedding to go to on Friday so I'm concerned about this)

The duration will be of your original cycles. Generally for four to six days. Keep in mind that slight irregularities can happen with hormonal pills.
