How Long Does Baclofen Remain In The System?
Husband has been taking Baclofen 10 mg twice a day since 11\10\17 (it is a PRN order) he is having an increase in depression m/b tearfulness, helplessness, difficuilt catching breath, hallucination, dizziness,confusion,nausea. His last dose was on 11/10/17, he took one tonight due to increase back pain and broke down in tears, after looking up side effects I informed him to stop taking medication. He has not had any emergency room side effects or I would have taken him in, his next MD appointment is not tell next month. How long will the Baclofen be in his system with these side effects?

Baclofen usually does not last more than 1 day in the body and if taken in excess not more than a maximum of 3 days. If these symptoms started on using baclofen stopping the treatment would be the right choice as it might be the cause for these symptoms.
