How Long Does Levonelle Stay In The Body?
I had sex Friday and took levonelle saturday at 4pm and want to know how long it takes to go through system i.e. does it cover for 4,12 or 24 hours after sex or if I had sex on Saturday at 6am and then again on Sunday during day which is my ovulation day - could it be possible I could get pregnant due to fertility returning to normal?

Levonelle is most effective when taken within 12 hours of unprotected sex, although it can be effective for up to 72 hours after sex.
You should bear in mind, however, that this effectiveness decreases over time. Levonelle is thought to prevent: up to 95% of pregnancies if taken within 24 hours.
