How Long Does Nicotine Take To Be Completely Out Of The System?

I m took a drug test (urine) and I ve been at least sixty days clean. Before that I smoked about 8-10 hits every night. Will I pass? I took a drug test before and passed at 23 days (same amount) I m just an anxious person in general and probably worrying over nothing but it s for a really good job and my anxiety is in full gear right now. Any insight would help. Also, I am 6 0 and 160 lbs if that makes any difference.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Generally, nicotine will leaves your blood within 1 to 3 days after you stop using tobacco, and cotinine will be gone after 1 to 10 days. Neither nicotine nor cotinine will be detectable in your urine after 3 to 4 days of stopping tobacco products.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
