How Long Does Xanax Take To Clear From The Body?
Hi I took a .25mg xanax on Monday evening for anxiety. I have had this script from when my mom passed in 2007. I have not taken this since 2007. I need to do a new employment physical Saturday at 1030 am with either a urine drug screen or a blood drug screen. I totally forgot about the screening, will this small amount be clear in either my urine or blood.

xanax has a variable half-life depending on various factors that ranges from 11 to 22 hours. For almost complete drug elimination 5 half lives are required. Which means that it may take at most 5 days to be fully (more than 95%) cleared, so I guess you're safe!
