Appeaers much less swollen better range of motion; albeit the large Hematome is still very present. How long will it take to go away and what should I try for therapy?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Hematoma is nothing but a collection of blood under the skin following a blunt trauma. Nothing much to worry and it will subside with conservative measures. You can apply ice packs for faster recovery. You can also take anti inflammatory drugs like Serratiopeptidase. Generally it will resolve with one week with above measures.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
