How Long Does It Take For Omeprazole To Cure Laryngopharyngeal Reflux?

ENT has done a scope and diagnosed LPGA reflux. Omeprezole in a.m.and Ranitidine at bedtime. Feeling of swollen glands under jaw that sent me to my primary care in January persist despite dietary changes. How long should I continue on medication before getting second opinion?

Hello,

Enlarged glands may be due to Infection in the oral cavity or throat. You have to use at least 2-3weeks for a response.

Please rule out is it due to acid reflux or oral infection. Get an endoscopy may give a clue.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
