How Long Does It Take For A Boil On The Outer Part Of Vagina To Burst?

How long can it take for a boil to burst? I have seen my doctor at the very start of my boil, so it was to early to lance it. My doctor prescribed antibiotics and sad to apply warm compresses to the area, this was last Tuesday, today is Saturday and it s difficult to walk (oh yeah, my boil is on the outer part of my vagina and the inside of my thigh) how long can it take?

I have gone through your query. It can break within 5 to 7 days. From your history it sounds like small abscess which collection of puss. Antibiotic won't penetrate it. So better to go for incision and drainage. This will help to heal and pain relief faster. Applying glycerine magsulf and beatdine ointment together will be helpful for bursting faster.
