How Long Does It Take For Chlamydia To Show Symptoms?

i have chlamydia and my girlfriend doesnt she got tested for it . so what does this mean? do we have to wait down the line then she'l have it becuase that is ridiculous id rather get something to clear it up now before she does have it this is very unfair to my girl becuase she is very scared and doesnt know what to do..and i am scared for her

Welcome to HCM.
The incubation period for Chlamydial infection is around 3- 4 weeks. If you had tested earlier the result would have been a negative one. Moreover the test may take some more time to show a positive result after one got infected and after the manifestations.
Another thing is, all who exposed to any infection not necessarily to get that infection. It fits with even for an amebiasis or a HIV infection. Getting infection depends on various factors like the virulence of organism to various host factors.
So there is no surprise in getting a negative result for chlamydia in spite of her had a contact with you.
Repeat the test once again.
Try to stick to a safe sex in future.
