How Long Does It Take The Glyburide To Completely Clear The System?

My mom has been on 3 glyburide 2.5mg for approximately 2 weeks. She had some problems with it and the doctor dc'd it this last night. I noticed she had swelling around the mouth this morning and gave her a Benadryl. Tonight the swelling is less but still there, so I just gave her another Benadryl.. My question is - how long does it take the glyburide to completely clear her system?

hi, your mother seemed to have developed allergy. If the kidneys are functioning normally, glyburide and its metabolites are excreted out in 72-96 hours. if there is a renal problem , it may take much longer. hope this helped.
