How Long Does It Take To Recover From Coma?

hello doc, my husband is met with an accident he got head injury, he is in i.c.u. his swelling reduced and as per doctors his CT scan report is also improving. he is moving his hand & leg sometimes... but is not concious. when will he be come out of his comastate.one week passed till now

Hi,as ur husband is moving his hand hands and legs is a good sign,but it will take sometime to regain his consious lavels,it depends on many factors when he will coming out of coma such as infections,his previous comorbidities such as diabetes,hypertension and any other illnesses in the past.
