How Long Does It Take To Withdraw From Clonidine?
DR my son is 17 now ,will be 18 November. He is ADHD and has been on Adderall and clonidine for 15 yrs. We took him off the Adderall a year ago, but he is still taking the clonidine 0.02 mg every night for sleep. can I wean him off of this med, and what and how bad are the with drawels,How long does it take!!

He is already on quite low dosage. Weaning him off Clonidine won't be any issue. Usually it is discontinued by reducing dose gradually over 2–4 days to avoid rapid increase in BP (Rebound hypertension).
